We are a mother-daughter craft business built on creativity, family, and learning. My 7-year-old daughter, Esmeralda, started our business last summer by making handmade crayons. As her confidence and creativity grew, she expanded her product line to include crayon ornaments, crayon necklaces, magnets, and glitter hair gel. As our business grew beyond children's markets, I joined her, and together we began creating cake pops and cakesicles. What started as a fun project has become a meaningful way for us to spend quality time together while building something we are proud of. Beyond creating handmade products, this business serves as an opportunity to teach Esmeralda valuable life skills, including money management, inventory, customer service, and sales. I also have two younger daughters who we hope will one day join the business, allowing it to continue growing as a family tradition built on creativity, entrepreneurship, and working together.
