My name is Laura Borchardt. I discovered tallow at the beginning of 2025 and haven't looked back. Once I understood what it could do, I replaced our commercial soaps, then our lotions, then our petroleum-based products one by one. My mindset is simple: what has God already given us that has been used for centuries to heal and nourish the bodies He created? Rendered Traditions is a family business. My husband Tim and son David make products right alongside me. We source suet from Guenther Family Farm, render it ourselves, and build everything from there — tallow soap, lotion, laundry detergent, lip balm, candles, herbal remedies, and petroleum alternatives like vapor rub and antibiotic ointment. Every product gets tested on our own family first. Shortcuts aren't always progress. We're going back to what works.
